Winter elegance at Fanhams Hall Hotel

Our brief for Chloe and Ben’s wedding in November was an absolute dream – elegance and romance using a warm colour palette with pops of colour, and plenty of shape and texture. Perfect.

Fanhams Hall Hotel is one of my favourite venues for a winter wedding. The dark wood panelling in the ceremony and wedding breakfast rooms add warmth and elegance and look beautiful when candlelit.

We used a mix of berries, thistles, ranunculous, astrantia, astilbe, roses and plenty of foliage to create Chloe’s dreamy bouquet. And Ben’s buttonhole features smaller-headed flowers from Chloe’s bouquet.

Tall tablecentres look amazing in the Great Hall thanks to a beautiful high ceiling. We kept these very natural and tumbly to follow the theme, and used a mix of smaller vases for their top table.

Apologies now for the overexcited expression on my face when handing Chloe her bouquet. I really need to remember there is often a camera present.

Here’s what Chloe and Ben had to say after the wedding:

“Thank you for doing such a wonderful job at putting together such stunning creations of flowers for our wedding day. We were absolutely blown away by how stunning they were, from the buttonholes, corsages and bouquets to the beautiful decoration and centrepieces. Your thoughtfulness and attention to detail was second to none and we can’t thank you enough for making our day so special.”

Chloe and Ben xx
